Following the success of last year’s event, Mission EmployAble, the Chorleywood Cricket Club and the PTA of Christ Church School are organising another Santa Dash and are looking for volunteers to help as marshals.
The charity run will take place on the Common from midday to 2pm on Saturday, December 10, for a maximum of 150 people.
Participants can walk, jog or run on their own, in pairs or as a family and can even bring their dog.
Marshalls will be required to stand in one spot on the circuit and keep an eye on the runners.
Santa hats will be provided for all those taking part, as well as mince pies and hot drinks.
There will be three circuits on offer of 2.5km, 5km and 7.5km, with prizes awarded to the three fastest adults and three fastest children under 12 (who must be accompanied by an adult).
All proceeds will be split equally between Christ Church primary school PTA and the fund for the new cricket pavilion and Mission EmployAble café.
