Dates have been announced for the return of the popular Berkhamsted Medieval Festival.
This interactive celebration of Berkhamsted’s history returns on Sunday, August 25, and Monday, August 26, organised by Berkhamsted & District Chamber of Commerce.
Held on Kitcheners Field near Berkhamsted Cricket Club, there will be a wide variety of fun and exciting activities for visitors to enjoy. This includes fire jugglers, fire eaters, magicians performing amazing tricks, a medieval puppet show, a falconer displaying birds of prey, knights in armour recreating Middle Ages-style battle, long bow activities, and a full-scale medieval village, all created by reenactment group Conquest Living History.
Entry is free for attendees aged under 11, and youngsters are also encouraged to take part in the children’s fancy dress competition.
