A Chorleywood-based theatre school is thrilled to invite residents to its latest production later this month.
CK Theatre School (CKTS) will perform Cinderella from Wednesday, October 30, to Saturday, November 2, at The Elgiva in Chesham. The cast will be made up entirely of students from CKTS aged between three and 18, and the script is written by a former student of the school.
Earlier this year, CKTS signed a lease agreement with Chorleywood Parish Council for the space previously known as the British Legion Hall, solidifying the school’s presence in the area.
Speaking to CHORLEYWOODnews, principal of CKTS Lucy Sills said: “We are super excited to be producing our own original adaptation of the much-loved fairytale, Cinderella. Written by a former CKTS student, the script delivers all the magic and sparkle you would expect, alongside an unusual twist in the tale at the very end (let’s just say Cinderella has her own ideas about marriage!).
“Showcasing our students’ acting alongside their dance skills, there is something to entertain everyone in this magical production.”
