Two of the nation’s most talented young trampoline gymnasts, who train in Hemel Hempstead, are competing in the Trampoline and Tumbling British Championships (TTBC) 2022 in Birmingham this weekend (October 1-2).

Both Felicity ‘Flick’ Mboma, 12, and Will Fullard, 14, from Ministry of Air Trampoline Club (MoATC) will be competing against the best of the best in their respective age categories for a chance to win a prestigious title.

After the finals, a select number of the highest performing trampolinists will be chosen to represent Team GB. Should Flick or Will be selected, they will have the privilege of joining the national squad training days at Lilleshall and will have the opportunity to compete in international competitions next year.

Flick has already impressed in the second qualifier when she came second out of more than 30 of the best trampoline gymnasts in her age group.

Graham Williams, head coach and owner of MoATC, said: “She’s made some big upgrades since then; if she can pull them off, it will be incredible. But with us ramping up, everyone else will have done the same.”

Flick and Will have only been with MoATC for a few years. They train five days a week and spend many hours travelling across the UK for tournaments. Graham cited their unbelievable work ethic as the reason for their rapid rise.

He said: “They were both late starters, but they work so, so hard, and their results match that hard work.”

The TTBC is a two-day event that will take place at the Utilita Arena. Flick and Will are hoping to impress in two preliminary rounds to make it through to the second day.
