Hemel Hempstead Town FC have paid tribute to former Love Island star Mike Thalassitis who was found dead in woodland near his home in Essex on Friday.
Thalassitis was a former semi-pro footballer who played for the Tudors and St Albans City FC among other teams.
The tribute read: “Hemel Hempstead Town FC would like to pass on their heartfelt condolences to former player Michael Thalassitis’ family and friends at this difficult time. It was announced that Michael was tragically found dead today. RIP Michael.”
