Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Guides from the 64th Bushey and Oxhey (Moatfield) Group banded together for the Big Help Out last month.
On May 8, members of the groups were joined by volunteers, who like millions across the country came together to lend a helping hand to charities and community groups.
The event was organised as part of the Big Help Out, a scheme aiming to create a lasting volunteering legacy from the coronation weekend.
In Bushey, the group and volunteers tidied up the outside space near the Scout hut, including clearing mud from the car park and cutting back weeds.
They then enjoyed a carnival of Scouting activities including a climbing wall, fire lighting, axe throwing and much more.
David Holdback, chairman of the group, said: “The 64th Bushey and Oxhey would like to thank all the volunteers who helped the Big Help Out, as well as those who help week in week out, leading the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, and our trustees who run the administration for the charity.”
The group is currently looking for more volunteers. To find out more and get involved, head to www.64thbusheyscouts.org.uk
