Hemel Town were held to a 1-1 draw this afternoon (Saturday, December 28) at home to Slough Town.
The Tudors got off to a good start when Sam Ashford scored in the 30th minute when the midfielder hit a stunning shot from outside of the box and fired into the bottom left corner.
Slough pilled on the pressure leading up to the end of the first half and they got their equaliser in the 44th minute through Dan Roberts.
In the second half, neither team were clinical enough and Hemel’s goal scorer Ashford picked up an injury and was forced to be subbed off in the 77th minute.
Hemel had to battle hard throughout the 90 minutes but a strong Slough side were able to pile on the pressure and keep them at bay.
Up Next The Tudors are back in action on New Year’s Day (Wednesday) at Vauxhall Road as they seek revenge over their Hertfordshire rivals St Albans City.
