Crown Honda in Bushey is helping to support critical workers in the community by donating vital PPE to a local disability charity.
Helping to keep their staff protected, Crown Honda donated 3,000 latex gloves to the Watford Mencap charity.
Watford Mencap works with people with learning disabilities, their families and carers.
They help to provide those with learning disabilities to enjoy equal opportunities and be valued as members of society, enabling them to lead the life they want for themselves.
After reaching out on Twitter to local businesses who may be able to donate PPE, Crown Honda sales manager, David Cook, informed them that their dealership would be able to donate 1,500 pairs of gloves.
Lee Monahan, joint managing director, stated: “We were more than happy to help a local business, especially as the team at Watford Mencap are doing such a brilliant job supporting those who need it at this time.”
Watford Mencap commented: “We are so grateful for the support from Crown Bushey Honda – the donation of 3,000 disposable gloves will help to keep the people in our residential projects safe and well.”
