Commuters travelling to London Euston today (October 17) are being advised to take an alternate route due to a fault with the signalling system.
London Northwestern Railway confirmed: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between London Euston and Watford Junction, fewer trains are able to run on all lines.
“Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of today (October 17).”
Rail replacement buses will run between Watford Junction and Wellingborough to connect commuters with alternative trains to and from London St Pancras International.
Commuters may expect more delays in the capital as Extinction Rebellion activists have said they plan to disrupt the underground network.
Updates to follow.
