Kings Langley Carnival is an event that won’t need introducing to village residents, having provided plenty of fun and laughter over the years.
With the 2025 event set for Saturday, June 21, the Carnival Committee is seeking volunteers to help kick off the planning phase.
At the Kings Langley lights switch-on, many residents signed up to be Half Hour Heroes, vital volunteers who donate half an hour of their time on the day of the carnival.
Now, more people with a range of skillsets are needed for roles such as planning and helping with administration, as well as more Half Hour Heroes.
The committee is also inviting local businesses and traders to sponsor the carnival.
Last year, £5,000 raised at the carnival was given to a range of organisations, such as the foodbank at All Saints’ Church and The Waterside Centre.
Speaking to KINGSnews, Carnival Committee chair Carol Chandler said: “It is a day by the community to help support the community. Carnival meetings happen once a month. If there is anyone interested, please come forward.”
