Croxley Guild Cricket Club were victorious against the Pimlico Strollers Cricket Club as the two teams came together for a close rematch.
On Sunday, September 6, the two teams met at Croxley Guild after their previous contest earlier in the summer.
The team were on top form as they secured an extra seven runs to achieve an impressive score of 300 runs with Pimlico Strollers just falling short.
Croxley, who won the toss opted to bat first and achieved a lead early on achieving several boundaries which took their score comfortably past a hundred.
Captain Danny Dallas secured 64 runs for the club before he was dismissed by Viral from the Pimlico Strollers.
In the end, the Pimlico Strollers found themselves needing to secure three boundaries to claim the win, but they did not materialise.
The game was well enjoyed by everyone watching at the Croxley Guild with almost 600 runs scored over the duration of the nail-biting Sunday afternoon game.
This makes it two wins for Croxley over the Pimlico Strollers this cricket season.
