Kings Langley showed great character to grab a point against Peterborough Sports after Chris Cummins’ men fought back from 2-0 down to grab a share of the spoils.

After a tepid first twenty minutes, Sports took the lead when Callum Adebiyi put the ball into his own net. Kings Langley 0 Peterborough Sports 1.

Goalkeeper Melvin Minter had to be at his best to prevent the visitors from extending their lead.

In the second half, the home side pressed for an equaliser led by Jordan Parkes but the visitors made it 2-0 against the run of the play.

The introduction of Will Hoskins was a decisive move by Chris Cummins. On 84 minutes, a flick from the substitute fed Mitchell Weiss. His effort hits the post but Harry Crawford slotted it into an empty net. Kings Langley 1 Peterborough Sports 2

The comeback was complete in the fifth minute of added time when Jordan Parkes made no mistake from the spot. Kings Langley 2 Peterborough Sports 2.

Kings Langley are next in action when they travel to Alvechurch on Tuesday night.
