Local fitness business owner Craig O’Toole founder of ManAlive in Watford and Radlett has been busy this festive period not only keeping his members fit and healthy but extending that help to their wider community.
Throughout the month of November, they organised a gift donation appeal, and these were donated this week to The Salvation Army in Watford. The donation was an estimated £2,000 worth of gifts!
The Salvation Army supports local families that find themselves in hardship over the festive period, providing new unwrapped gifts as well as a warm and welcoming place to come and feel at home.
During challenging times ManAlive has seen more than generous donations come in from the community they have built around their fitness business. Extending this out to their members families, friends and colleagues they have seen a ground-breaking number of new toy donations arrive to make Christmas a little bit easier for those in need.
Founded by Craig O’Toole in September 2013, ManAlive has 250 members all committed to achieving the same goal this Christmas. Craig has built up a community over the years which has been strengthened in recent times. For further information please visit: www.manalive.co.uk
Craig O’Toole said: “I am so impressed with the way our members have pulled together this Christmas to help support our local community. With the current climate as it is it is even more important now than ever before to extend a hand to help those less fortunate than ourselves. We were extremely proud to be able to take such a large donation to The Salvation Army and hope that it makes a difference.”
