Two young sisters from Garston decided to cut their hair for charity.
Shreeya, 7, and Nia, 6, had their haircut on Monday, August 24 and are raising money for The Little Princess Trust.
The two sisters were supposed to have just a trim before the start of school but they both wanted to donate their hair.
The girls had their haircut at HOB’s in Radlett. Mum Meena Kukadia said: “HOB’s were very generous, and the manager Richard gave their haircuts for free and we donated that money back into the charity.
“We decided to treat the girls to Pizza Express, Watford, one of the favourite places. The manager Johana gave us our meal for free to, so we donated this back onto the charity too.
“We continued on to Rock Up in Watford, who were equally wonderful, and they agreed to give our children a free session the next time we visit.
“You hear so many sad and unfortunate stories in the media but for a change this is a really happy one.”
The girls managed to raise within a week £865 plus £150 in gift aid.
Mum Meena continued: “Huge thank you to everyone who donated, it is whole heartedly appreciated.”
