Golden Boys manager , Quique Sanchez Florez, has backed goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes after an error during their 2-1 defeat to Leicester. After an even affair in the first 45 minutes, the deadlock was broken after the interval, within 10 minutes, when an N’Golo Kanté effort slipped under Gomes’ grasp. The Brazilian took to Twitter after the game to apologise to the Watford supporters. “Just want to apologise to the fans, the boys and the manager. I did let you down today and I’m feeling really sad about that. Thanks for all you support, means a lot to me,” he tweeted. Watford FC, who are 11th in Premier League, will play their next game against Man United on Saturday, November 21 at home.
