Both the home and away fans that attended the match today (August 17) between Stratford Town and Kings Langley were treated with a spectacular 90 minutes by both sides.
The fast-paced game was filled with goals, goals and more goals, with four of them coming in the first half.
Kings nearly took the lead in the fourth minute after they saw an effort inside Stratford’s box headed off the line by one of the defenders on the post – good start.
Seven minutes on the clock and two goals came in quick succession with both sides getting on the scoresheet.
Two goals in two minutes with the first coming from Stratford striker Ball, who tapped home from close range.
Less than a minute later Kings replied with a wonderful piece of skill from Mhlope after he put the ball through the keepers’ legs and then tapped into an empty net. 1-1.
With both sides getting a taste for goals, the next one wasn’t long after as Kings went 2-1 up with 19 minutes on the clock. A calamitous error by defender and goalkeeper saw striker Eion McKeown capitalise and slot it in the net.
When will they stop? 26 minutes on the clock sees the games fourth goal with Stratford making it 2-2 with the goal being scored by Lewis Wilson.

After a big chance was missed by Langley on the 61st minute, McKeown stepped up to make it 3-2 to Kings while also grabbing his second of the game.
A very open game gets it’s sixth goal as Kings let slip as Stratford equalise in the 90th minute to make it 3-3. What a game.
Kings continue their unbeaten form with one win and two draws in their opening three and will be looking for their second win in their away at Banbury United on Saturday, August 24.
