Entries are being invited for this year’s Croxley Show, which is being held on September 13 at St Oswald’s Church Hall in the village. Participants will be able to enter a range of classes including vegetables, flowers, handicrafts, domestic categories, home-made liqueur, photography and children’s classes. This year’s event is the 95th annual show and secretary John Jowers said this year’s event was particularly important for the village particularly after the closure of the Croxley Green Gardening Club. He explained: “We look forward again to families contributing to this traditional and colourful community event. We are especially pleased to welcome new exhibitors so please have a look at the website and find something you could enter. Although the standard is high, you are not entering The Great British Bake Off or The Big Allotment Challenge!” For more information on the classes with advice on how to prepare your entries please go to our new website: www.croxleyshow.co.uk If you do not have computer access there will be paper copies of the schedule (list of entries) in the Croxley Library and the Croxley Green Parish Council office. You can also contact show secretary John Jowers directly by calling 01923 774621 or 07871463103
