POLICE APPEAL: Witness appeal following fatal road traffic collision in Radlett

Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Radlett.

Police were called at 11.48am today (Thursday, August 4) to report a single vehicle road traffic collision on Watling Street, at the junction with Harper Lane, involving a black Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The driver, a man aged in his 50s, sadly died at the scene, while a passenger was taken to hospital by ambulance to be assessed.

Detective Sergeant Ben Heath, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly died in this incident.

“We are investigating the circumstances of this collision and as part of that would like to speak to anyone who witnessed it or has dash cam footage of it.
