GET INVOLVED: Kings Langley Parish Council announces return of garden competition

Published on: 10th June 2023   |   By: Holly Bullen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Kings Langley Parish Council’s Gardens Competition returns this year, and green-fingered residents are invited to get involved.

Categories include best front garden, best water feature, best commercial premises and best allotment plot.

Councillor Gerry Angiolini said: “This year, we are delighted to be joined again by Ian Barrow from Sunnyside Rural Trust. He brings not just his horticultural expertise, but shed-loads of advice from all our gardeners.”

One of the judges, councillor Alan Johnson, said: “Anyone is welcome to enter the competition. We just want everyone to ‘give it a go’ – we’re not looking for perfection.”

The judging will take place on Saturday, July 22, and automatically includes the council allotments at Sunderlands Yard and Red Lion Lane.

Anyone who would like to enter can contact the council office on 01923 261828 or email

klpc@kingslangley-pc.gov.uk

Alternatively, entry forms are available to collect at the council offices at Charter Court in Vicarage Lane.
