Berkhamsted residents are invited to get involved with up-and-coming sport pickleball, which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.
The West Herts Wizards, based at Berkhamsted Leisure Centre, are inviting new members to join their fun and friendly club.
Pickleball is an accessible sport for all ages and abilities and is easy to learn. No previous racquet sport experience is necessary. The club is a great way to meet other people, will keep you fit and active whatever your age, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the basics.
The sessions are all-inclusive and are organised by experienced club leaders. On Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm and Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm, the Wizards are offering free taster sessions to anyone who would like to try pickleball.
Just turn up in your sports gear and indoor sports shoes and they will show you the basics. There’s no need to book.
