A special auction has been set up to help raise money for Watford’s COVID-19 appeal including Watford FC memorabilia.
Items such as Graham Taylor’s personal Watford FC Year Books between 1979-2001 are up for grabs, as well as a 30-minute sightseeing flight for two over Watford and a portrait of Luther Blissett drawn by Watford’s MP Dean Russell.
People can bid on the different items on the auction page until June 7 at 9pm.
On the auction page, it says: “It’s a very challenging time for our local charities. Thousands of people rely on them for support every day and even more so since the COVID-19 crisis.
“More and more residents are asking for their help and they have less funding than ever as many of their planned fundraising activities have been suspended.
“From getting emergency food packages to those in need to supporting victims of domestic abuse and those with mental health issues and providing shelter for the homeless they provide critical support to our town.
“Any money you can donate to this appeal will ensure that this vital work continues during this time and that these charities survive through to the recovery phase and beyond.”
