FUTURE FUNDING: Clairvoyant evening in Elstree to raise money for cancer research

Published on: 11th October 2023   |   By: Bryn Holmes   |   Category: Uncategorized

An upcoming clairvoyant evening is set to take place in Elstree, with the goal of raising money for a London university’s cancer research unit.

Taking place at The Village Hotel on Centennial Avenue on Monday, November 13, the evening will see internationally known medium Sandra Mitchell Aetheris conducting a live mediumship demonstration, with private readings at 8pm, as well carefully selected readers also taking place from 6pm onwards.

The day is being organised by the health charity Cure Cancer, which is aiming to raise money for the cancer research unit at University College London (UCL) so they can purchase the equipment needed to carry on their vital work.

The group has already raised £10,000 for the cause this year, and has plans to host other events in the future, including a dog walk and competition in May 2024 and a half marathon in October 2024.

Cure Cancer founder Sandra Hamilton said: “UCL’s researchers work tirelessly to find a cure for terminal cancers and at the same time develop effective, personalised treatments for patients.

“The team there performs two key roles of researcher and professor – specifically taking the results of their research to doctors, who in turn take it directly to the bedside of their patients.

“Cure Cancer is operated by volunteers; the funds that you donate go straight to where they are needed, making a direct impact on research now, that will benefit generations to come.”

Entry to the medium demonstration will cost £35, with an early bird offer of £30. Private readings cost £28 for 25 minutes of reading, with an early bird offer of £26.
