Abbots Langley charity DEMAND Design & Manufacture for Disability have partnered with Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden to host a charity fundraising Gala this November.
The Gala dinner, held on Friday, November 15 at Shendish Manor Hotel in Apsley will raise funds to support the charity’s life-changing disability equipment service.
Denise Gillies, organiser of the event, said: “We’re thrilled to again have the support of Dan Dark and the team at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
“Their support at our previous gala events has meant we’ve been able to provide special sensory rocking chairs to schools in the area, which help their students with autism to regulate their sensory environment, learning skills that help them access the learning opportunities on offer.
“The Warner Bros. Studio Tour even has it’s very own Sensory Chair for visitors.”
Guests at the event will enjoy a drinks reception, followed by a splendid three-course meal and special entertainment.
All proceeds raised on the night will support DEMAND’s disability design services which help people find the solutions they need when nothing suitable exists.
New life-enhancing design projects will be revealed on the night, with guests invited to pledge their support to ensure the projects go ahead and resulting designs can help hundreds if not thousands of disabled people.
Dan Dark, SVP and Managing Director, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with DEMAND on this event. The team provide an incredible service which impacts the lives of many in a really positive way.”
Tickets are just £65.00 each, with the venue able to accommodate tables of 10 to 12 as well as small groups of guests. The dress code is formal evening wear and there will be a cash bar, prize draw, and silent auction on the night.
