One of the very first editions ever published of STANMORE&EDGWAREnews introduced readers to Stanmore-based Harrow Rugby Football Club (RFC), when the men’s team had just emerged victorious in a match against the Fullerians.
Ten years later, a new generation of rugby players have now taken to the pitch.
Former Harrow RFC player Tadhg O’Slatara, who now lives in Kerry, Ireland, recently invited his new team Tralee RFC to a friendly Under 16 game in Stanmore on Saturday, February 24.
After the match, the boys watched the Six Nations in the clubhouse.
