The Fox and Hounds pub in Rickmansworth has set up a fundraiser in order to give NHS staff free pints once things get back to normal and pubs can re-open their doors to the public.
The fundraiser has a target of £1,000 and will give people who show their NHS staff photo ID a free pint.
Pat Ensor set up the fundraiser, which reads: “NHS staff have put their lives at risk during this pandemic and many people would like the opportunity to say thank you by simply buying them a pint or two when pubs are able to open again.
“As a pub we have been asked by customers to provide this opportunity and we are happy to oblige.
“This fundraising event will mean that once normality returns NHS staff can show their photo ID at the bar in The Fox and Hounds, Rickmansworth, and can have a drink that will have been paid for by this GoFundMe page.
“One drink per NHS worker so as many as possible can benefit and the offer will last as long as the funding allows.”
