A man has died falling from a bridge onto the M25 near Chorleywood
The incident took place at around 4.30pm on Friday, October 28 at Junction 18 for Chorleywood.
Emergency service were called after receiving reports of concern for a man’s welfare.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “We received a report at around 4.30pm yesterday of concerns for the welfare of a man at junction 18 of the M25. Reports stated a man had fallen from a bridge over the road.
“Emergency services attended and the anti-clockwise carriageway was closed for a time while the incident was dealt with. Sadly however the man was pronounced as deceased at the scene. The road was fully reopened shortly after 9pm.
“No further information is available currently however officers would like to thank a number of motorists who stopped at the time in order to assist the man.”
