FarmFest will return to Maple Cross over the August bank holiday weekend to fundraise for homeless people – many of whom are Ukrainian refugees – living on the outskirts on Rickmansworth.
Now in its 13th iteration, this year’s FarmFest will feature a handful of upcoming indie artists including Pincher, Le Junk, Coming Up Roses, Millie Turner and Misty Miller across a single stage.
All year-round, Lynsters Farm provides a safe haven for 20 homeless and refugee women and children, many of whom have fled war-torn countries. All ticket, food and drink sales from the festival go towards the running of the farm and supporting the families that now call it home.
Scott Albrecht, who runs the farm and organises FarmFest, explains: “FarmFest isn’t Glastonbury. It’s a chilled-out single stage festival set in beautiful farmland next to a large, serene lake, where you can spend a few days discovering brilliant new bands from across the country.”
“We’re aiming to raise £10,000 this year, which will go towards feeding and heating the families in our care.”
Day tickets start at £15 per adult or £50 for all four days and can be purchased online, or on the door – https://farmfest.info/tickets/
