World Cup winner Roberto Carlos paid a surprise visit to Per Tutti on Watling Street on Thursday, September 26, delighting staff and guests at the family-run Italian restaurant.
The former Brazil international was welcomed by the team, who later shared their excitement on social media.
The restaurant wrote:

Carlos was a key member of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup-winning squad, helping his country lift the trophy in Japan and South Korea.
He is also remembered for his hugely successful career at Real Madrid*, where he spent 11 years and established himself as one of the world’s leading left-backs.
During his time at the Spanish club, Carlos won four La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies, alongside numerous other domestic and international honours.
His visit to Per Tutti provided an unexpected moment for diners and staff alike.
