Watford Boss Quique Sanchez Flores appears set to play new signings Pantilimon and Amrabat in the next week, as the Hornets prepare to face both Nottingham Forest, in the FA Cup, and Chelsea in the league. Flores told reporters at this morning’s press conference: “There will be changes because we are playing three matches in seven days.” The Watford Boss made it clear that the focus was on the upcoming match, adding: “It is difficult because you want to win every single match. The next match is always the most important, so for me today, there is no sense in starting sorting teams out for Chelsea.” The possibility of new last minute signings is still there, with Flores hinting that another striker may be on the cards: “We are not disappointed we did not get Adebayor. We want players who want to play for Watford. Maybe it is possible to think of one more striker in the last 4 days”. Watford are also set to sign Midfielder Mario Suarez for an undisclosed fee of around £4million, with Flores commenting: “Suarez would bring experience and a good sense of play.” Following UEFA’s approval of goal line technology to be used at Euro 2016 this summer, questions have arisen as to whether other organisations will also introduce the ever-controversial technology. Flores was all for the introduction of goal line technology in games, speaking passionately: “I love it. It is not fair to not have the technology. We are using technology in the world for everything. That’s why it is so important on the pitch.” With Ighalo scoring for the first time since December against Newcastle, the Hornets seem to be back on track, and with some new additions to the team, could this be the start of a run of wins for the Golden Boys?
