Herts Constabulary have confirmed a number of firearms and ammunition have been seized by specialist officers after completing a thorough search of an address in Adrian Road, Abbots Langley.
This comes after the news that officers along with bomb and weapons experts were called to a house in Adrian Road, after a relative of the resident had reported the findings to police.
Officers and specialist teams also carried out a search of a garage in Langley Road.
Abbots Langley neighbourhood sergeant, Chris Simmons, said: “I’d like to thank residents for their patience whilst EOD and police search teams carried out a thorough search of the property and made sure all the firearms were safe.
“They completed their work at 2.20pm today. No homes were evacuated and at no point were any residents in any danger.”
