Chorleywood resident who entertained families over lockdown is glad to be able to start face to face sessions again.
Independent Early Years Practitioner Jo Roberts entertained families through Zoom for 23 weeks and is happy to be able to entertain them with her SongTime sessions in person.
She recently started her sessions at the back of The Green Stores in New Road, Croxley Green.
Speaking to ChorleywoodNews Jo said: “Families are desperate to return to physical sessions and I’ve been inundated with requests to join the SongTime sessions.
“Families are worried their very young children have missed out on socialising with their peers and without activities to attend, the day can feel very long indeed.
“I’ve started my outside, socially distanced SongTime sessions which is very exciting. I have to limit numbers in order to keep everyone safe but at least I can see families face to face.”
The SongTime sessions run in four-week blocks and will be delivered outside.
Before lockdown, Jo used to have her sessions at the Chorleywood Library which is still closed.
She continued: “I’d love to return to Chorleywood Library to deliver some sessions there so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it might open again towards the end of October.”
SongTime is a fun, interactive music session for 0-5years.
Families can enjoy singing familiar nursery rhymes, large action songs, dancing to music with scarves and other equipment and much more.
