Abbots Langley Players (ALP) will return to the stage this May following their successful performances last year.
Audiences of ALP’s The Regina Monologues and Last Tango in Whitby last summer were unanimous in their praise for the productions.
Now, ALP are returning for Rules for Living, directed by Annie Connell, at the Henderson Hub from Thursday, May 1, to Saturday, May 3.
Written by Sam Holcroft, Rules for Living is a dark comedy which takes a look at how families manage, or rather fail to manage, the well-worn tradition of a family Christmas.
A spokesperson for ALP said: “It would spoil the surprise to reveal how this particular Christmas dinner ends up, but rest assured, it is guaranteed to be very funny – and hopefully not too similar to the audience’s own experience of family get-togethers!”
The cast includes new members Sophie Hodgkinson, Evie Mitchell and Kieren McCarthy, plus Johna Ash and ALP regulars Roger Gotts, Delva O’Regan and Tracey Roper.
Tickets are available to buy at www.ticketsource.co.uk/alp or by calling 0844 804 5354.
