KLS announced on Wednesday, December 3, they were given the prestigious Emotional Wellbeing in Schools Mark Award.
This recognition highlights the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing students’ emotional health has been truly embedded through daily practice.
The awarding body shared with KINGSnews: “Kings Langley has a strong and committed team of pastoral staff who dedicate time to various aspects of how children can be supported.
“The family support worker, mental health lead and school counsellor are tireless in their endeavours to seek support for students and work continuously to drive the mental health offer forward.
“An unusual yet critical element of this team is without doubt librarian Jane Hill, who has a unique opportunity to build relationships with some of the more vulnerable students.
“This fantastic accomplishment demonstrates a deep, sustained commitment to creating a school environment where every student feels safe.”
