A six year old from Kings Langley took to the pitch last month as a mascot for the England Under 21 Men’s team.
Football fanatic Harry Murrill walked onto the pitch at the famous St George’s Park – the home of all 23 of England’s national football teams – for the friendly match against Japan on Saturday, June 10.
Speaking to Kings News, Harry’s parents said they were delighted to see his joy as he walked onto the pitch alongside England captain Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
Harry’s dad Toby said: “I have worked at The FA with the England Men’s teams across the age groups for more than 10 years.
“A work colleague invited Harry to be a mascot for the game and he was delighted to accept.
“Gareth Southgate popped in to see them before the game. Both sets of grandparents came, making it a really special day for the family. Harry did a great job and we were all very proud of him”
