The Friends of Aylward will host their annual summer fair on Friday, June 6, at Aylward Primary School in Stanmore.
Happy’s Circus, a two-and-a-half-hour experience presented by a 14-person touring team, will also feature. The circus emphasises that their performance does not include any animals.
A spokesperson for the Friends of Aylward said: “We are hoping to raise vital funds for the school to be able to purchase new laptops to support the children’s learning. We last hosted Happy’s Circus back in 2023 and it was a great success. We’re hoping this time round it will be even better.
“At the summer fair, we are excited to have fairground rides, Woolsey’s Miniature Railway, games, BBQ, waffles, bubble tea, and our local businesses. We look forward to welcoming everyone for a fun-filled afternoon.”
The fair will start at 3.15pm and the big top tent will open at 5.30pm for the show to start at 6pm. Entry to the fair is free, whilst the circus costs £12 per person (free for children under two if they sit on their carer’s lap). Prams are not allowed at the circus.
