Chorleywood Film Club Is excited to announce the launch Mini Movie Makers’ and ‘Young Filmmakers’ competitions for 2021.

They are inviting youngsters in the village to make and send a short film and win the opportunity to meet industry professionals.

The event will take place on October 2 and deadline for submission is September 13.

Organiser Eleanor Dolan said: “Last year, we had over 30 entries covering a wide variety of subjects from pig-tastic disasters, animal intelligence service pigeons to an evil cucumber threatening the existence of life on Earth!

“It was inspiring to see such creative and imaginative pieces which were shared with an audience of over 120 at the live screening. I am very much looking forward to seeing the 2021 entries and we have a fabulous panel of award-winning judges to share their own filmmaking practices and present the awards!”

Entry is split into 2 competitions: school years three to six (mini movie makers) and school years seven to 13 (young filmmakers).
