Watford Lions Club (WLC) have confirmed that this year’s Abbots Langley Carnival and Procession will take place on Saturday, June 14.
The popular annual event, which is always on the second Saturday in June, will see the procession leave from School Mead at exactly 12pm, arriving in the High Street and Manor House Grounds approximately one hour later.
The suggested theme for this year’s procession is ‘Nursery Rhymes’. Knitting club The Vintage Crafters, described by WLC as a “very talented group”, are already crafting figures to decorate bollards and the High Street ahead of the event.
ABBOTSnews regularly attends the carnival, which features a variety of rides and stalls and is highly anticipated each year.
If you would like to join in the procession, please contact abbotsprocession@gmail.com
To book a stall space at the carnival, please email abbotscarnival@gmail.com
The event is organised by WLC and sponsored by Abbots Langley Parish Council, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden and M. K. Ginder.
