Staff from Hightown Housing Association have generously donated over 27kg of essential personal care and beauty items to DENS charity to help vulnerable local people in Dacorum who are isolating at home and cannot afford to buy them.

The donations (all unused) included items such as deodorant, soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, shaving cream, pampering products, in addition to hand and body lotions.

DENS charity, based in Hemel Hempstead, will distribute the parcels to single people and families in Dacorum.

Natalie Sturrock, head of housing at Hightown Housing Association, said: “We know how difficult it is for many people at the moment. Providing these essential items will help local people who are vulnerable and are struggling financially to have the things they need and the care they require.

“I am very grateful to all the staff who contributed to the collection.”
