Thames Valley Police is appealing for help to trace a man who has gone on the run from Springhill jail near Aylesbury.
Kevin Wood, also known as Ray Wood, aged 40, absconded from the prison on Sunday 17th at around 2.30pm.
Wood is white, around 5ft 8ins and of a medium build. He has short brown hair, is clean shaven and has blue eyes.
He was last seen dressed in a blue t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and white Adidas trainers.
Wood has two tattoos, one of ‘Chelsea’ on his upper back and another of ‘Chloe’ on his left arm.
He is known to frequent the Hemel Hempstead area in Hertfordshire.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Dale Price, of Aylesbury Vale CID, said: “We are seeking information from anyone who can help us find Kevin Wood.
“If anyone sees him, I would urge them to call 999 and quote reference number 43190081846.`”
