Kings Langley residents’ favourite local market has revealed when its final day of trading will be at its current site.
Bovingdon Market, which is run by Wendy Fair Markets, has been running every Saturday and bank holiday Monday at Bovingdon Airfield for years, but will be forced to stop trading there as of this September.
A Bovingdon Market spokesperson said: “We recommend starting your Christmas shopping early… as we won’t be here for Christmas 2022. Sadly, your favourite market will stop trading at Bovingdon Airfield in September.
“Film work is taking over the space at Bovingdon Airfield. we’re trying to relocate the market to another place and will keep you updated on that.
“For the moment – grab your bargains while you can! We’re OPEN every Saturday 9 am – 4 pm. Hope to see you all soon.”
The airfield has been used consistently over the years for filming tv dramas and feature films.
