The ancient Kings Langley Cricket Club (KLCC) is holding fundraising events to raise money for new state-of-the-art cricket nets.
KLCC, which has been playing on The Common for 190 years, is looking to invest a whopping £20,000 into replacing its nets.
The club hopes that this investment would benefit its junior members far into the future.
The club hopes to have the nets set up in the next few months so that they’re ready for the cricket season of 2020.
This major project supports the growth of junior cricket across Kings Langley.
Last season KLCC saw over 150 young cricketers, both girls and boys, playing at the club.
The funding of this project is gathering pace, with fundraising activities planned throughout the season, kicking off with a quiz night taking place on Friday, March 27.
The club welcomes members of the community to come along and join in the fun.
They are also looking for support from individuals and local company’s and we have various way in which you can support the project through sponsorship and donations.
