Kings Langley will travel back from Staffordshire empty-handed this afternoon after Chris Cummins’ men lost 2-0 at league leaders Tamworth.
After the visitors started brightly, it was the home side who took the lead after a moment of pandemonium in the Langley box.

Kings responded well to going behind with Mitchell Weiss and Louie Collier leading the visitors’ efforts to get back in the game but after a frantic and combative first half, Kings still trailed 1-0.
To their credit, Kings Langley kept attacking in the second half and enjoyed much more pressure and possession, but, with a quarter of the game to go, it was Tamworth who doubled their lead when the ball was slid through and slotted home after a free kick.

The result leaves Kings 14th in the BetVictor Southern League – Premier Division Central.
Kings next travel to Boston on Tuesday in the Cup.
