The Conservative Party’s Bob Blackman CBE MP has held onto his seat in Harrow East after 25,466 residents voted to keep the long-standing MP in office.
Bucking national trends, Mr Blackman garnered an increased majority of 11,680 after 62.71 per cent of residents turned up to cast their votes.
Mr Blackman MP has represented the North West London constituency since he was first elected in 2010, during the Liberal Democrat and Conservative coalition.
Labour’s Primesh Patel accrued 13,786 votes, with Roger Clark from Reform earning 2,118, Independent Sabira Lakha winning 2,097, Green candidate Sebastian Newsman 2,006, Lib Dem candidate Reetendra Banerji 1,511 and Workers Party candidate Sarrajulhaq Parwani 723.
