A drug dealer has been found guilty of conspiracy to supply drugs including cocaine and crystal meth as well as ‘date rape’ drug GHB.
Wuwuoritsetan Orimolade, 30, of Deans Way, Edgware, was part of a group called ‘The OxyMen’ who sold drugs on the dark web, which is supposed to be untraceable.
Investigators found that ‘The OxyMen’ had successfully made at least 2,585 deals, with Orimolade managing the online side of the business and managing cryptocurrency accounts.
Meanwhile Neal Sharpe, 56, of Valley Drive in Edgware, was the “orchestrator of the group”.
Sharpe was arrested in april 2022, after which officers found £375,000 worth of drugs at his storage unit in Neasden. Orimolade was arrested three months later after officers found messages relating to drug sales on his phone.
On Thursday, March 28, Orimolade was found guilty of conspiracy to supply illegal drugs following a trial at St Albans Magistrates’ Court. Sharpe had already admitted his role in the operation after being charged with possession of drugs including MDMD and methylamphetamine.
Both men will be sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on May 31.
