Stagecoach Performing Arts students from Watford, aged 10 to 17, have stunned with a musical theatre performance at Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End.
The club aims to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes.
After months of rehearsals, the event offered the young group the opportunity to perform “on the world stage”, boosting their confidence in and beyond the classroom.
Eleanor Johnson, one of the group’s teachers, said: “Our hearts are full of pride witnessing the dedication, passion, and spirit each student brought to this project. Their unwavering commitment to inclusivity and excellence has created something truly meaningful. Proof of what’s possible when everyone is seen, heard, and celebrated.”
The group performed a range of musical numbers, including hits from The Greatest Showman, Mary Poppins, Pippin, and Anastasia.
Emily Smith, Principal at Stagecoach Watford, said: “Some students have overcome emotional difficulties and personal challenges to be able to perform in the prestigious Shaftesbury Theatre, in London’s West End and I couldn’t be prouder of them.”
