A local photographer has discovered how the use of a drone can capture the spectacular surroundings of Croxley from above.
Oli Webby, became interested in Aerophotography last year and began taking shots whilst away in Austria, before he was then asked by many to take photos and videos of the surrounding area.
He said: “I have always been into remote controlled things and I looked at a drone and thought they are relatively expensive but I’m going to get one now because soon the laws will change and I can enjoy it before the rules get stricter.”
Oli captured this photo of Croxley from above just after sunset recently and said he would recommend this type of photography as it provides a new perspective.
He said: “It’s interesting for a different perspective because obviously you’re used to seeing everything at ground level.
“But you do have to be very careful of where you take your photos and make sure you’re within the law.”
He regularly shares his fantastic shots to community Facebook groups and receives hundreds of likes and comments of praise.
