Local schools to celebrate milestone anniversary with past and present students

A secondary school in Garston is delighted to celebrate their diamond jubilee.


On the evening of Saturday, June 25, St Michael’s Catholic High School, High Elms Lane, will be putting on an extravaganza Retreading the Boards to mark the school’s 60th Jubilee.

The evening will showcase talented past and current students with over twenty-five formers students taking part, many of whom now work in the performing arts industry. It will include a mixture of dance, song and stand-up comedy.


Edward Conway, headteacher, said: “This will be a fabulous evening and a fantastic way to mark sixty years of Catholic education at St Michael’s. We are looking forward to welcoming former students and friends of St Michael’s along on June 25.”


The school would be delighted to welcome former students to the evening.


Tickets are available online at at £6 each (tables of eight are available for £40). Doors open at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.
