A Croxley business have stepped up to help the local community and make sure that no one goes hungry this Christmas.

Eagle Relocations Ltd based on Croxley Business Park are calling for the community and other local businesses to fill boxes with items to donate to Watford Food Bank.

The business will be providing boxes to fill up until Wednesday, December 16, when they will deliver the donated items to Watford Food Bank.

A spokesperson for Eagle Relocations said that they wanted to give something back to the community this Christmas.

They said: “Eagle Relocations is a family run business which has been successfully moving our clients since 1967. At this time of year we like to take a little time to think of others who may not be as fortunate as us. We wanted to use our resources and put them to good use within the local community.

“Watford Food bank is a very worthy cause. They provide individuals and families in crisis with emergency food as well as support, until the appropriate agencies are in position to assist.

“Using our vehicles and boxes, we wanted to make it easier for our neighbours and friends to contribute. We would like to do our bit for the community and believe this is the perfect way to give back to those in need.”

You can collect boxes to fill with donations between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday before December 16, from Unit 9 Millfield House in Croxley Business Park.
