A local resident is concerned that a bus route saved from cancellation earlier this year is not being used as much as it should be due to current faults with the service.
The 328 bus, which shuttles residents between Abbots Langley and Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, was saved from closure in June after Red Rose Travel agreed to take over the running of the route. Hertfordshire County Council also contributed money towards the service.
However, an anonymous resident has said that while they are glad the service has been saved, they are worried that people may not be aware of the route due to several factors.
Speaking to Northwood & Ruislip News, they said: “The new buses have no branding or livery on them and nothing to indicate that they are the 328 route. These ones are all just plain white.
“Also, some of the bus stops with live updates are showing the buses as being part of the 8 route, which is completely wrong.”
Their concern is that after all of the effort to keep the route going, it could be forced to shut regardless due to people being unaware of its existence.
Red Rose Travel have been contacted for comment.
