Three dancers from a school in Radlett have qualified for the The Great Big Dance Off which is taking place on June 8.
Two troupes and a duet of boys from Fair Field Junior School competed in the heats at the Beck Theatre in Hayes last month.
The children performed to a panel of judges and an audience of more than 200 people, where one of the dances finished in the top three.
One dance troupe performed a piece based on Roald Dahl’s Matilda and the other was a contemporary remake of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet.
Head of School Mrs Goodwin said: “We are excited to see what they will go on to achieve next year. We are exceptionally proud of all our talented dancers. Their commitment and energy certainly ensured they shone on the day.
“We would like to thank their dedicated dance teacher, Miss Berg for her inspiring choreography and igniting a passion for dancing in not just these dancers but all the children at Fair Field.”
